Languages spoken in Zambia are a reflection of it’s rich history and culture. The official language in Zambia is English since it is part of the Commonwealth nations. The country has got 73 local dialects that are spoken in specific areas within the country however, only 7 of them are widely spoken across wider regions that is; Nyanja, Bemba, Tonga, Lozi, Kaonde, Lunda and Luvale.
