Ethnic connections can be found everywhere in the country. Zambia has many sites connected to it’s cultural and historical heritage, as well as traditional activities. It has more than 700 natural and cultural sites.
Zambia has 73 officially recognised ethnic groups and more than 75 traditional ceremonies, from February to December.
Art and craftwork are a major example of the rich culture available in Zambia and there are many places where these can be bought. This includes Kabwata Cultural Village @ (Lusaka), Mukuni Park Curio Market @ (Livingstone), Tribal Textiles @ (Mfuwe, South Luangwa National Park), and other permanent and Sunday crafts markets.
